The Home USe Device Working Group is a Scientific Partner of the 5CC World Congress.
This boutique conference has a long and rich history as a comprehensive dermatology and aesthetic medicine congress - and has one of the most outstanding faculties at international congresses.
The 5CC was the first congress ever to host a HUD session, as Dr. Michael Gold was a strong advocate for HUDs to accompany cosmetic procedures - he was visionary on this topic.
In 2023, the Next Generation Stars category was introduced. This was a great success. The next group of young and innovative thought leaders from around the world will provide insights into key areas of dermatology and aesthetics with the most pressing and exciting topics of our time.
The participants come from all over the world. The attendees are young, up-and-coming physicians.
Due to the size of the 5CC, it is more intimate and offers younger doctors more opportunities to interact with experienced professionals and the industry.
The motto is: "Become a member of the 5CC family".

The HOME USE DEVICE WORKING GROUP (HUD) was created as an informal association in 2011. The goals of HUD are to assist in the development of international standards and regulations relating to safe and effective home use, light- and energy-based aesthetic devices; to develop best practice recommendations, starting with safety, in advance of the publication of standards; and to encourage and disseminate communications about the efficacy and safety of home-use, light- and energy-based aesthetic devices. www.home-use-device.com
